Division and District Champs
It was the start to a great year. From hard working practices, to dedicated parents, it sure helped the Cut Knife Junior Girls go undefeated.
It was league time, and not once did the Junior Girls lose. They never gave up, and never let the pressure get to them. The team had a great coach Skye Braun, and a great team.
The team consisted of: Lynea Dupuis
Rachel Rosette
Lynea Dupuis
Brenna Tyler
Aleah Anseth
Jenna Bertoia
Megan Donald
Marissa Tsatoke
Raeanna Kelly
Shelby Stapley
Madison Bertoia
Cassie Switzer
Lavina Tootisis
Darcie Brown
The team had practice at least once a week, for two hours. They traveled to many places, and always came home with a medal.
When it was time for divisions, the team went straight to the final, bringing home a banner. Next it was time for districts, after many games and many rallies; the girls were in the final. It was a match against their rival, Wilkie Broncos. Of course the girls had to go to three sets, and with long rallies, killer servers, and crazy hits, Cut Knife Junior Girls won Districts. Sure they made a lot of girls tear up after they went undefeated, but it was sure worth it. A big thanks to the parents who drove them, who supported them, and for cheering them on!
New volleyball court shoes, needed to play hard, and work harder. They are light weight and lots of grip; you will be all over the court when wearing them. Buy them now at Sports Check.
